People Experiencing Poverty
|
You may simply want
to discuss your ideas with someone to help you make a decision.
You might have a one-off enquiry that we can assist with. We
are here to help.
We particularly want to work with the smaller
groups who may not be very experienced in voluntary action.
We also want to reach people who do not normally have easy access
to this kind of help. This might be because they live in an
area where they are isolated. It might be that they are disadvantaged
in some way, perhaps through disability.
The project also has resources to loan free of
charge to groups such as a digital camera, display boards,
gazebo, and marker board. Our reference books
and various publications also offer a valuable resource
to groups seeking information. We also run training
courses to help groups meet identified needs.
All the services
of the Small Group Project are completely free to groups.
We can visit you anywhere
within the High Peak. Give us a call to make a convenient appointment.

Small
Group Project Co-ordinator - Liz Fletcher
Liz
offers support to small voluntary and community groups and
particularly those that are marginalised, disadvantaged
or rurally isolated. She can visit groups anywhere in
the High Peak. Help can include advice on structures of
groups, roles and responsibilities of management committee
members, funding, running meetings, charitable status and
training.
Small Group Administration Assistant - Louise McNeil
Louise supports Liz in the work of the Small Group Project and also assists some groups with administrative work. By providing extra assistance to SGP, Louise can add value so allowing Liz additional time to go out and visit their groups. |
